My New Gallery Relationship
After 20 years of putting pigment on paper, I am finally exhibiting my watercolor paintings for sale. It’s not that I haven’t felt confident about the quality of my work. I just wanted to wait until I could be represented by a really good gallery that specialized in my type of paintings. The River Gallery in Chelsea is that type of gallery! They reviewed my work last month and yesterday I got a phone call letting me know that I had been accepted by the jury committee. I signed their contract, which includes a 100-mile exclusivity clause, and next week my work will be on the gallery’s walls. It’s been a long, long wait, but definitely worth it!
