A Legacy of Success
Fuad El-Hibri was born into a family of success. His father was an entrepreneur and businessman who worked developing telecommunications networks in different countries around the world. He was officially recognized by the Governments of Germany, Lebanon and Venezuela for some of his extraordinary achievements. In Fuad’s fathers direct family there were two male doctors and two female doctors, an extraordinary accomplishment for a Muslim family. Fuad is carrying on the legacy of his family, specifically his father who later in his life focused on supporting the development of vaccines in order to save lives by leading the company Emergent BioSolutions Incorporated. The stated mission of this company is simply to “protect life” and they are doing this by developing vaccines for some of the world’s most deadly diseases.
