If you are looking for some quick ways to get in shape and stay that way, then there are a few suggestions that you should follow: First of all, get a piece of paper and a pen and start keeping a food diary.  Don’t do anything else just yet, just go through a normal week of eating and doing whatever else you do, all the while keeping track of the things that you eat and any sorts of exercise that you do throughout the course of that week. At the end of the week, take all of the information in your diary, examine it and figure out ways in which you could improve upon it.  You might actually surprise yourself! Other ways to help get yourself in shape aren’t found in the big things, but rather, the smaller things that you do.  For example, the next time you go to the grocery store, park your vehicle further away than you normally would.  This will force you to walk a few extra steps to the grocery store. Now, depending on how frequently you go to the grocery store, this could be a lot of walking!
