First, identified areas were seepage occurs. Find those areas that have become damp as well as the obvious cracks and holes. In most cases the holes and cracks will be minor enough that simply purchasing a waterproofing compound and applying it properly will be all that is needed.
In more extreme cases, research how to fill in larger cracks and holes with mortar or a cement formula. Otherwise, the sealant will become easily compromised.
