There are many credit card companies that get into the scene and took advantage of homeowners in trouble with mortgage companies. People thought they were getting foreclosure help but in fact they were getting into more trouble with more debts and more creditors to deal with.
While credit card debts may be better than mortgage debts and having to be evicted and foreclosed on, it is not much better and it can lead to more problems.
Credit card companies always find ways to get the homeowners and debtors in some ways. There are real solutions but credit card debts are not among them.
