There is something about a blue pool cover pump that tells me it is going to be good. OK, that may be a bit of an emotional reaction to seeing the little giant pool cover pump but I did have that reaction. It is powered by a 1/3 HP, 1700 GPH sealed electric motor. The pump is designed to be cooled by the flow of water through and around it. The selling feature, other than the blue color, is the automatic feature to shut it off and turn it on. I can now get a good nights sleep free from worry about the impact of the rain on my pool cover.
