This is used to help create heat to get the bag to be securely kept tight and for the air to be able to be removed from inside of the bag.
The air valve in the Handi-Vac vacuum sealer works to help with removing the air from the inside of the bag. As a result freezer burn will be reduced and the food will not go stale.
The process that is used for working on the vacuum sealer is easy. First, the vacuum sealer bag is filled. Next, the bag is placed flat and onto a surface so that no food is over the maximum fill line on the Handi-Vac Reynolds Vacuum Sealer bag.
