Why A Puppy Needs to be Crate Trained
There are many ways to train a new puppy. One thing many people overlook or neglect is a crate. It sounds mean but is a valuable tool. It offers the puppy boundaries and gives you a learning device from which the pup can see what is appropriate inside the home and what is appropriate outside the home. Make the crate feel friendly to the puppy and never sue it as a punishment otherwise you send a mixed signal, which will set back the training. Keep the time in the crate under a few (3-4) hours unless you have an important reason. Learn more about puppy training with a crate.
