All in my Attitude

When I was born, I only had one arm. My parents, probably without even realizing it, did almost everything for me. When I entered school, the other kids either teased me, ignored me, or did things with me out of pity. I wanted nothing more than to be treated like a normal kid. So when I entered high school, I started singing and playing sports. People began to treat me with a little more respect, but I still didn’t feel like they understood me. That is, until I started college and joined some disabled chat rooms. I realized that there were others going through the same things as I was, and that it was all in my attitude.
