If you are a woman, you may be tempted to buy your husband a character tie, shirt or shorts this Father’s Day. These can be a fun gag gift, but do not expect your husband to wear them very often. These type of mens clothes are only a novelty. Even if your guy does appreciate your humor, the clothes are likely to sit untouched in the closet. If you are looking for something that will actually be used, stick with plain-colored ties and clothes, or with simple prints such as stripes. Unless, that is, you are trying to get your husband laughed out of the office!
