Friday Night Is Collectible Card Game Night
I work a lot with the youth in this city. On Friday evenings we open up the basement of the church for anyone that wants to to come in and just hang out. One of the things I have tried to do is to create a safe place for them to be, one where there are not a lot people telling them what they have to do. We have some basic rules and as long as they are followed everything is alright. They get to choose their own activities. Recently they have been playing a collectible card game. It keeps them occupied and they appreciate having a place to play.
