Growing up my mother always tried to instill the importance of saving money and setting a manageable budget fro your family. I never really paid much attention to that advise until I grew up and started my own family. I learned fairly quickly that a budget is definitely needed to keep order in your finances. If you choose to not set a budget spending can get out of hand before you know it. So in order to stick to the pre-set budget my husband and I both try to keep track of the various deals, discounts and coupons that we find. It has really helped us in maintaining our finances.
