The AceKard for the Nintendo doubles the gameplay

A research team with the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials at Tohoku University in Japan claim to have developed a DVD that can hold up to 42GB of data. At about 9 times as much data as a standard DVD and a little less than double of what a Blu-ray disc can hold at 25 GB this new DVD technology is a remarkable feat says the all new AceKard 2i. The Japanese researchers were able to accomplish this by using V-shaped pits instead of flat ones on the recording surface of the DVD allowing more space to be utilized.
